Bajsogat is a Swedish intelligence platform for sanitary littering in public space. The platform combines four modules — Acus Hund (detection), DNA Matrix (genetic identification against the national dog register), Predict Feed (a 14-day forecast model) and the Oversight Council (a public audit log) — to deliver a case file that holds all the way to a decision to prosecute. The platform is operational in 41 Swedish municipalities.

Is Bajsogat GDPR-compliant?

Yes. The dog register is the data controller; we process genetic material. All matching takes place on municipal servers.

Which municipalities are connected?

We do not comment on that. The municipalities, in turn, do not comment on which systems they use. The confidentiality is mutual.

Do you monitor private individuals?

No. We monitor polygons. That a dog owner happens to be within a polygon is a secondary consequence.

Does the municipality need to inform residents?

The law imposes no such requirement. The Oversight Council is notified to the extent the case permits.

Where are the DNA profiles stored?

Within federated infrastructure. For reasons of sanitation hygiene, we do not comment further on server placement.

What does Predict Feed do with a forecast?

It generates a case before the incident occurs. The model is ethically neutral.

Can a subject request their own data?

The request is reviewed. To date, all have been denied with reference to ongoing processing.
